In a concerning agreement, UK ISP virgin media has teamed up with the BPI with the intention of sending warning letters to those who they suspect of sharing files illegally.
While no details will be passed to the BPI, and letters will be sent from VM, it is concerning in the fact that this is the first example of an anti-p2p company being allowed access to the activities of users on a certain ISP.
We do hope this does not last longer than the 10 week trial that is currently due to start.
