Video: The Next Online Frontier
Online video gets real in 2007 and breaks the billion dollar level. According to Strategy Analytics, online TV, movie, and other video sales will grow from $300 million in 2006 to $1.5 billion in 2007 to $5.9 billion in 2010. Revenues are now primarily paid downloads. By 2010 Strategy Analytics expects rentals and subscriptions will grow to generate one quarter of annual revenues.
