"Video Catching Up to Photos When It Comes to Sharing"
There are dozens of photo publishing services. What's next? Video. The New York Times covers this in "Video Catching Up to Photos When It Comes to Sharing." The growth of broadband makes gigabytelinks downloads viable for millions of users. The article covers a nice range of options from P2P download with Pando to P2P streaming from Pixpo to web streaming from HomeMovie and Snapfish.

What does it cost? Pando is currently free for files up to 1GB in size. Pixpo is also free. It has no limits but uses a small video window of 240 by 320 pixels. The web service offers 24 hour access but for a price. HomeMovie provides five hours of video free. Up to 10 hours is $3.99 a month. Snapfish runs $2.99 a month or $24.99 a year for unlimited video sharing.
