The top European courts have today ruled once and for all that ISPs are not required to give up details of their subscribers in cases of a civil nature. This covers all cases where organizations request the details of suspected illegal file-sharers as it is not considered criminal law.
This is fantastic news which will quash a lot of the big anti piracy organizations abusive tactics, as they cannot expect ISPs to be bullied into handing over the details of their subscribers, and thus will make it a lot harder for them to mount a decent case against anyone who shares files at all!
Shame such law doesn't apply in the US...

European union courts cannot rule Countries. A Country rules its territory. This is called Sovereignty. Members (past and/or present) of your government are in dishonor with its constitution. This is treachery and is highly unlawful and the penalty is death in many countries. Sue all of them one by one in a well informed jury court of Law, not a court of legislation.
