Analysis

Alexa, despite being utterly useless at almost everything, does have one redeeming use; you can judge how popular websites are against one another with the site, and it's been suprising to see in the last week that The Pirate Bay has entered the top 100 for a short period of time. I say suprising because The Pirate Bay is not a torrent index like higher ranked mininova is; it's a tracker, the torrents run from it, not are just hosted by it. It's impressive to see just how much the publicity has helped the site, and probably rather depressing for all the anti piracy agencies.
