Textbook Torrents was one of those few p2p sites that really had a strong message behind all of the files it "made available". Textbook costs in the US are incrediably high for Uni students, making it very hard for them to get by, and as such, it asked people to scan and torrent all they might have lying around, in order to help others.
Unfortuantly it is now offline, due to the owner's legal concerns, and "managing a site of it's size".
RIP Textbook Torrents, one of the more ethical torrent sites.
