Indications from the hearing were mixed. The Justices seemed to support the Sony Betamax doctrine. However they may provide a way to attack companies that facilitate "active inducement" of copyright infringement and send the case back to the lower court. This would delay any final decision another 1-2 years, by which time the P2P industry and players could be very different.
