Spain P2P smackdown
While P2 for personal use is legal in France and The Netherlands, it's now illegal in Spain. The spanish Congress also made it a criminal offense for ISPs that facilitate unauthorized file sharing, though it's not clear what ISPs do that could be deemed contributory. To top it off, a tax will also be assessed on recordable media from CDs to memory sticks. The MPAA was very, very happy.
