Sony BMG sued for piracy
Filed in archive Business by Jordan Grodecki on March 30, 2008

In a hilariously ironic turn of events, Sony BMG, a company who are often seen trying to prevent copyright theft, are being sued for copyright infringement themselves. PointDev, a much smaller company, got the right to seize their severs and some copyrighted material has turned up on them, in the form of software, rather than the music they are rather more used to dealing with!
The smaller company wants to make this an example, so we can expect big fines for Sony if they end up losing.
