MediaDefender, a company set up to attack those sharing files on the net, has never been seen in a very good light. Rather than sending cease and desists, they put up fake files, tricking users into wasting their time downloading files they do not need. They also have a reputation for DoS attacks, despite their illegality, and now they have commited one against Revision3. Revision3 is a perfectly legit company who does internet TV, and distributes it via a public BitTorrent trackerlinks; which MediaDefender was abusing. When they were cut out, the servers went into DDoS mode and killed R3's servers, taking their entire business offline..... unfortunatly for them, Revision3 has reported their antics to the FBI.

More as we get it on proceedings.
