The fantastic internet radio reccomendation player...thing, that is Pandora, has announced that it will be ceasing to operate in the United Kingdom due to the lack of a decent way of paying the royalities which are required.
The exact same thing happened in Canada last year, and ended with all Canadian users being IP filtered from listening to music, it is expected the same thing will happen to british users, although it has not quite yet.
It is unfortunate that the industry seems to refuse to invest in something which is pushing their music out there, and paying them what they want. Utter madness.
