P2Pnet.net is for sale. Owner Jon Newton is accepting offers over $30,000.
P2Pnet has been supported by advertising. But the site has had major blows in the past year as most of his advertisers have been put out of business by the recording industry. On top of that Google Adsense has incorrectly suspended his account. P2Pnet has contribution links. But those have generated little income.
Jon has done great work for the P2P industry. He has been a tireless defender of P2P and consumers for the past five years. I personally hope he can sell and find a way to continue to write about the business.
