P2Pers win in Sweden
In Hunt for private file sharers is over, a Swedish appeals court refused to hear a case against a man fined for sharing a movie.

The good news for Hollywood - a substantial fine equal to 80 days salary was levied. The bad news - it means law enforcement can't catch file sharers, at least not when there are no businesses involved and it's just one movie.

The prosecutor, Håkan Roswall, said "I interpret this as a clear decision that individual file sharers, if they don't earn money from file sharing, won't get anything more than a fine. That means we can't trace IP addresses, which means that we can't trace privatelinks file sharers."
