P2P use continues to grow

According to Big Champagnelinks, despite the lawsuits against developers and consumers, P2P use continued to rise in 2005. Here are stats for the average number of people logged onto the p2p networks:

US: Dec 2005 - 7.0 million
US: Dec 2004 - 5.5 million
US: Dec 2003 - 3.2 million

World: Dec 2005 - 9.6 million
World: Dec 2004 - 7.6 million
World: Dec 2003 - 5.6 million
