The TV industry, one of the groups most affected by "illegal" downloading of it's content, has finally begun to embrace p2p technology, although of course, it's DRMed to the hilt. It's a start, though.
NBC has teamed up with Pando Networks to distribute it's hit TV shows all accross the web for free, via a small client which combines direct downloads and peer to peer intergration, giving the user faster access to the shows it wants, but without the downfalls of lack of seeds.
Encryption, DRM, and the like are all present, but in all honesty, did you ever expect them not to be? An interesting point to note is when we will see TV's equipped with internet security software.
