Mininova told to filter copyrighted content

mininova has been told by Dutch anti piracy organization BREIN to filter all copyrighted content or face strong legal action . BREIN also claim that the site's current method of dealing with copyrighted content; responding to DMCA complaints is inefficient and the site is just to large for it to work effectively. Mininova counter this by saying due to the sheer size of the site, that is the only method they can take to prevent copyrighted material making it's way onto the sites listings.

We'll see if it ever makes it to court.
