The title may initially seem confusing...Limewire, one of the only p2p applications that is continuing despite pushes from the RIAA and the like, has opened a paid music store....but of course, it's not of the odinary kind. The music store will not contain all the top artists, but only independant artists who licence their music to be distributed in high quality, DRM free MP3. Pricing is fairly good too, typical 99cents for single song as you go, but there are big plans which allow you to reduce the cost per song to about 27cents, which is a really good price. Yet will it be used? I'm not sure, seeing as very few people are willing to buy songs from bands they have never heard of in mainstream media....
