UK pop star Lily Allen has announced that she's "quitting the music business, at least partly due to file sharing," according to the SMH's Asher Moses.
"Allen claimed that she was quitting the music business completely and hit back at critics who said she launched the campaign as a publicity stunt, explaining: 'I have not renegotiated my record contract and have no plans to make another record. The days of me making money from recording music has been and gone as far as I'm concerned, so I don't (at this point) stand to profit from legislation,'" according to Xfm.
