More signs the music business is changing. Grammy winner Maria Schneider won the Jazz album
Grammy. And she did it strictly via the Web without selling a single album in a store. Remarkably she not only made a profit, she also secured enough publicity to win the award. "I'm not splitting the profits with the distributor, the record store and the record company. It's working so well for me," said Schneider.
