Independant Film Maker Thanks P2P

Jerome Bixby, an independant film maker, who has just released his latest sci-fi feature, "The Man From Earth", is exactly the person who somoene would expect to be deadset against P2P. However, he has found himself thanking it after his film was leaked onto torrents and the like almost a week before it's DVD release.
Why? Simple. The immense popularity increase that free version has brought. Visits to the films official site increased a whopping 3,000% in the week before it was released, with a large chunk of that said to be due to the release on P2P. The IMDb
ranking has also shot up, and the film is now rated as the 14th best sci-fi film ever made; impressive, considering it is an independant production.Check out the film here
