IFPI plans to censor your net.

The IFPI, that company we all know and love, has come up with another slightly insane plan to destroy everything that looks like it may have once thought about sharing a file.

They claim that Europe is to light on pirated content and that anything that is predominantly used for illegal purposes should be banned, shut down, or blocked. Websites like The pirate baylinks should be blocked by ISPs and protocols like bittorrent that are used in majority for illegal content (yet very often for legal content!) should be blocked.

This comes quite close to their previous idea of banning copyright infringers from the internet in stupiditiy and technical impossibility.

Keep it up IFPI, it's people like you who prevent p2p from being stopped.
