
The Pirate Bay has gone legit.
"Embattled file-sharing site The Pirate Bay is to be turned into a legal business after being bought by a Swedish software company... Global Gaming Factory acquired The Pirate Bay for 60 million Swedish kronor," writes inthemix's JackT.
"It looks like bittorrent tracker OpenBitTorrent, a name already put forward as a replacement... is set to take over all of the torrents currently tracked by The Pirate Bay," suggests Softpedia's Lucian Parfeni. "While it may be more than just a coincidence, whether this move was foreseen or even planed by the people behind The Pirate Bay can only be speculated — but it is certain that the community will be well catered to in the future..."
