EU Extends Copyright to 95 years

In a completely unexpected move, the EU has bowed to the record companies demands and has extended copyright to last a total of 95 years before the original work becomes public domain. This means that record companies can continue selling early classical music and prosecute those that share it for free.

We are all very pro public domain, so it is a shame to see that we arn't going to get a big increase in available material.
