EMI quitting RIAA funding?

EMI, one of the big corporations in the music industry, has announced that it is reconsidering quite how much it should be contributing to organizations like the RIAA, the ones who are trying to financially ruin thousands of people for just sharing a few songs.

They might have noticed just how badly the RIAAs attempts to stop file sharing have gone, creating mass public dislike, and for every site they take down, another 2 or more spring up, it's a never-ending fight they won't win, and maybe, just maybe, the EMI have realized this.
