EliteTorrents admin jailed

Following up on the last story I posted, we have news of another sentancing for a p2p pirate; this time the admin of the "uploaders" from EliteTorrents.org. Charged on one count of conspiracy and and one count of felony copyright infringement, Daniel Dove has got 18 months in a federal prison, and a whopping $20,000 fine.

It's still nowhere near the 10 years in prison he could of faced, but justifying putting someone in jail for 10 years for uploading things to the internet would be incrediably hard for even the best prosecutors.
