Demonoid down... CRIA to blaim?

Demonoid, one of the largest semi-private torrent trackers in the world, has been taken offline. This has happened a couple of times before, but a plan to bring the site back up has always been in place, or at least rumoured.

This time round, the site is displaying a message saying the CRIA (the Canadian equivalent of the RIAA) have ordered the shutdown of the site via their ISP... much like how they had to previously block all Canadian traffic due to pressure from the same organization.

The CRIA themselves have not said much on the issue, other than that they have taken steps to ensure the site stays down; but you know just how well that kind of statement sits with the community. Will The pirate baylinks step in again if Demonoid cannot bring themselves back up? We shall just wait and see.
