Blocked in Italy? More traffic from Italy!

Blocked in Italy? More traffic from Italy!

As reported, The Pirate Bay was blocked in Italy recently…and when something is blocked, you'd expect a very low number of people to be able to get around the block. In fact, the complete opposite has happened; TPB has shown statistics that 5% more italians are visiting the site, despite the block, completely defeating the object of the whole facade in the first place.

Good job authorities.

    TPB, top work once again!!

  2. OK. It’s illegal. It’s a biggest bittorent web site.
BUT, Everytime The Pirate Bay suffers a few minutes for downtime, thousands of people start to worry that something awful has happened to their beloved site. Luckily, this is usually not the case.
The fear that The Pirate Bay may not return probably stems from the fact that it was raided nearly 5 years ago, and all the legal troubles that followed. However, aside from the three days of forced downtime in 2006 thepiratebay.org has never run into any significant trouble.
