BitTorrent wins Warner
hollywood's acceptance of BitTorrent continues as Warner Brothers announced it will distribute its movies and TV shows over that network.

While P2P may be used for distribution there still is no signal that Hollywood is going to compenate users for using their own bandwidth and computing to share the files. Furthermore the files will still be CRAP (protected by DRM).

BitTorrent requires a web server (called a tracker) to serve as a hub for connecting Bit Torrent sharer and downloaders. Because of this centralization distribution can be controlled and so has proven to be a palatable form of P2P to mainstream copyright holders.
